As far as Regional Offices are concerned, the (ACC) collects fees amounting to 4 JD (four Jordanian Dinars) in return for granting a Certificate issued by the (ACC) indicating registration of the Regional Office with the (ACC).

 

First time registration fee for the Chamber includes the addition of the branch or branches required to be registered for the institution / company when registering, no additional fees are imposed on this process except the fees outlined above.

The (ACC) registers individual trade companies and firms which practices their activities within the geographical boundaries of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM). Registration with the (ACC) qualifies such companies and establishments to become (ACC) members and to benefit from the various services which the (ACC) extends to its members. Besides, registration with the (ACC) is one of the prerequisites for obtaining the Professional License issued by (GAM) and needed to practice the relevant profession.

Conditions for obtaining service

Bring the Required documents after register at either Ministry of Industry and Trade for Personal Institutions/ Control Companies Department for Companies.

Notes

The person authorized to sign with regard to administrative matters should appear in person. In case of inability to attend, the registration form may be obtained from the (ACC) or from the (ACC) website, and may be signed by the authorized signatory. Verification of accuracy of signature may take place through matching same with any signature on record from the files kept at the (ACC) or through endorsed signature from any bank in Jordan which the signatory deals with.

 

In case of an Ownership Document available, such document should indicate that the shop, company or establishment location is a commercial one; otherwise, the incumbent should present a Works Permit or Location Map showing that the location is commercial.

Procedures

1. Refer to Information Desk to ascertain the documents required and to obtain your (turn) number.

 

2. Wait at the hall allocated for visitors to the Members Services Department until your number is called through the automatic calling system.

 

3. After receiving the application, the employee will enter the necessary data into the computer, indicating the sector to which the (ACC) member belongs. After concluding such data entry, the application will be ready for paying the fees.

 

4. After paying the fees, the incumbent will be handed the Membership Certificate stamped with the (ACC) seal and signed by the employee authorized to sign on behalf of the (ACC).

 

Required Documents

First: Individual Establishments:
Applicant for registration should present the following documents:

Trade Register Document issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Commercial Name Document issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (if any).
Original Lease Contract or Ownership Document along with Works Permit.
Personal Identity Card issued by the Civil Status Department for the person authorized administratively to sign, for Jordanians, and Personal Identification Document, for non-Jordanians.


Second: General Partnerships, Limited Partnerships, and Partnerships Limited by Shares:
Applicant for registration should present the following documents:

Companies Controller Register Document issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Commercial Name Document issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (if any).
Original Lease Contract or Ownership Document along with Works Permit.
Personal Identity Card issued by the Civil Status Department to Persons authorized to sign administratively, for Jordanians, and Personal Identification Document of administratively authorized signatories, for non-Jordanians.


Third: Public and Private Shareholding Companies, Limited Liability and Exempt Companies:
Applicant for registration should present the following documents:

Companies Controller Register Document issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Commercial Name Document issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (if any).
Document indicating Company capital, names of partners or shareholders, shares, and authorized signatories issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Company Bylaws and Memorandum of Association.
Original Lease Contract or Ownership Document along with Works Permit.
Personal Identification Card issued by the Civil Status Department of the persons authorized to sign administratively, for Jordanians, and Personal Identification Document of administratively authorized signatories, for non-Jordanians.


Fourth: Regional Offices:
Applicants for registration should present the following documents:

Companies Controller Registration Document issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade for non-operational foreign companies.
Original Lease Contract or Ownership Document along with Works Permit.
Personal Identity Card issued by the Civil Status Department for persons administratively authorized to sign, for Jordanians, and Personal Identification Card for administratively authorized signatories, for non-Jordanians.


Fifth: Operational Foreign Companies:
Applicants for registration should present the following documents:

Companies Controller Registration Document issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the operational foreign companies.
Original Lease Contract or Ownership Document along with Works Permit.
Personal Identity Card issued by the Civil Status Department related to persons administratively authorized to sign, for Jordanians, and Personal Identification Card of persons administratively authorized to sign, for non-Jordanians.


Sixth: Free Zones Corporation Companies:
Applicants for registration should present the following documents:

Commercial Register Document issued by the Free Zones Corporation.
Commercial Name Document issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (if any).
Company Bylaw and Memorandum of Association (Limited Liability Companies).
Letter issued by the Free Zones Corporation indicating that a Liaison Office has been opened for the Company in Amman.
Original Lease Contract or Ownership Document along with Works Permit.
Personal Identity Card issued by the Civil Status Department to persons administratively authorized to sign, for Jordanians, and Personal Identification Card, for non-Jordanians.
