• Required documents:
• Certified copy of (family book, marriage certificate and valid passport).
• Copy of passport / wife's travel document.
• Certified and recent certificate of no criminal record of the wife.
• A personal photo of the wife.
• A military conscription booklet for the husband, exemption or termination of service if the husband is subject to military conscription.
• Family booklet of the husband’s father and the bridges yellow card for the husband and his parents if any

• Department of Civil Status & Passports.
• Jordanian diplomatic missions abroad.

Procedures

• The applicant will fill-out the form designated for naturalization. Or, a request is received from embassies and missions abroad.
• The receptionist will check and verify the documents.
• The applicationis then referred to the CitizenshipSection for consideration.
• The Civil Status Department and the concerned authorities are addressed.
• Upon receipt of the responses from the concerned authorities, a letter of consent for naturalization shall be prepared.
• The applicant shall be handed-over the approval letter to follow-up with the Civil Status and Passports Department or to the Jordanian Diplomatic Mission, in accordance with the progresstowards the naturalization.
