Conditions for obtaining service
1.The author of the book should be Jordanian.
2.The subject of the book should be about Jordan or the Hashemite family.
3.The book shouldn’t have been issued before more than two years.
4.The book should be of literary and scientific value and benefit the reader.

Procedures
1.The applicant shall refer to the Studies and Publishing Department / Procurement Department at the ministry's center or the directorates of culture in the governorates, and fills out the purchase form (applications shall be transferred from governorates to the Ministry's center by mail with a copy of the book
2.The application shall be transferred to the register where it shall take incoming number, and then transferred to the Directorate of Studies and Publication/procurement Department.
3.The application and a copy of the book shall be received by an employee in the department, and then shall be transferred to the Procurement committee.
4.The committee shall review the book and take the proper decision about.
5.The Procurement Department employee shall prepare a minutes of the list of books names, prices and the number of copies to be purchased.
6.The Director shall sign the minutes and assigns it to the Minister for approval.
7.After being attested, the list shall be transferred to the Procurement Department to contact the applicant and inform him of purchase approval ,and the number of copies to be purchased and their price.
8.The applicant shall deposit three copies of the book in the National Library to receive a deposit notice.
9.The applicant shall refer to the Procurement Department and submit the approved copies, and attach the deposit notice.
10.The Purchase Officer shall provide the applicant with a financial claim form to be filled.
11.The Procurement Department Officer shall prepare an entry voucher of the number of books, then shall be transferred to the Finance Section for exchange.
12.The finance officer shall receive the financial claim and the document.
13.The Finance Officer shall issue a check in the name of the applicant of the applicant after paying Stamp fees.
14.The check shall be delivered to the applicant in the Finance Department.
Required Documents
1.Deposit Notice from the National Library (before purchase).
2.Copy of the book intended to be sold to the Ministry (non-refundable).
