Procedures

- Submit the petition to the Ministry of Justice.

- Obtain the judgment decision duly certified and indicate that it has acquired a peremptory degree.

- Visit the Ministry of Justice and request a special pardon.

Required Documents

- The judgment decisions issued in the case that is duly certified as having acquired the peremptory degree.

- Conviction note

- A duly certified instrument of reconciliation, in case the judgment was issued prior to the reconciliation.

- A medical report issued by the competent medical committees indicating the health condition of the convicted person if the request for pardon is based on health reasons.

- Attach the above documents with the pardon petition; submitted by the convicted person or his/her legal representative.
