THE DIRECTORATE OF PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MEDIA The Directorate defines the Bureau and enhances its relations with the different Journalistic and Media establishments. It also regulates the contact between the Bureau and the citizens in order to ensure that the citizens are provided with cost effective and efficient services. THE DIRECTORATE OF INFORMATION The Directorate undertakes the management and maintenance of all database covering all sides of civil servants’ affairs and civil service that serves the purpose of the different directorates and administrative units within the Bureau in particular and the operations of human resources planning and management in the civil service in general. THE DIRECTORATE OF PLANNING AND ADMINISTRATIVE DEVELOPMENT The Directorate supervises the preparation of theoretical research and the development of work methods in the Bureau. It also provides competent human resources capable of achieving the Bureau’s goals within a comprehensive modernization and training plan. THE DIRECTORATE OF ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL AFFAIRS The Directorate organizes and provides all sorts of administrative services and needs for the Bureau. It also supervises all procedures related to personnel management and regulates financial expenditures according to relevant legislations and instructions. THE DIRECTORATE OF RECRUITMENT AFFAIRS The Directorate carries out all procedures aimed at ensuring that the human resources needed by government departments are recruited in according with the Civil Service Statute on the basis of the selection and appointment criteria, and thus achieving justice, objectivity, and equal opportunity to all applicants. THE DIRECTORATE OF SCHOLARSHIP AND TRAINING The Directorate undertakes the responsibility of upgrading the performance and competency of civil servants in government departments by sending them course and scholarship in and outside Jordan. THE DIRECTORATE OF PERSONNEL AFFAIRS The Directorate oversees civil service’ affairs, regulates and carries out the procedures related to the civil service and servants according to the applicable legislations and directions. THE INTERNAL MONITORING UNIT The unit ensures that work procedures and decisions made by the Bureau are in line with the executive legislations on one hand and senior management plans and program on the other. LEGAL CONSULTATIONS UNIT The Unit’s main mission is to provide legal opinions and advice into matters relating to the civil service affairs and revising the concerned legislation with the civil service. SUPERVISION AND FOLLOW-UNIT The Unit monitors decisions issued by governmental departments in relation to the applicable service procedures in respect of civil servants. It also follows up and ensures that all departments apply Civil Service Statute rules and regulations properly. THE CENTRAL COMMITTEE’S SECRETARIAT This Secretariat organize the work of the Personnel Affairs Central Committee by presenting civil servants cases to the Central Committee regarding promotion to the First Category, appointment, and adjustment of statute for those serving in categories one, two and three in accordance with the provisions of the Statute. |
