The Authority is composed of the following:

1.      The Board

2.      The Director General

3.      The Executive Team

The Board is formed under the chair of the Minister and the membership of each of the following:

1.      The Director General/Vice Chairman

2.      The Ports Corporation Director General

3.      The Royal Naval Forces Commander

4.      Three people who are holders of the Jordanian nationality and who have experience in the maritime transport sector, two of whom are from the private sector to be appointed by a decision from the Council of Ministers and upon the recommendation of the Minister for a period of four years renewable.  Changes to any of the members may be done in the same manner whereby a replacement is appointed for the remaining duration of the membership.
