Private Equity & Project Finance Department

Studies and analyzes the opportunities of investment projects that include all economic structures, infrastructure projects and projects resulting from privatization programs, and comes up with appropriate investment recommendations on the investment and economic feasibility, and the form and extent of the Investment Unit’s contribution to these projects, in addition to managing and following-up the private shareholding portfolio within the Investment Unit.

Real Estate Investment Department:

Develops, manages and maintains the true value of the real estate portfolio, so it effectively contributes to development of the Investment Unit’s assets and in achieving appropriate investment returns at acceptable risk rates.

Equity Investment Department

Manages and maintains the true value of stocks in the investment portfolio. The department manages, develops and invests the Unit’s assets in the listed public shareholding companies in which the Investment Unit is a shareholder, in addition to achieving appropriate investment returns within acceptable risk rates.

Treasury Department :

Manages the financial surpluses of the Investment Unit in the money  market (money market tools, fixed income tools, reserve centers) and capital market (loans) through applying investment policies that include the necessary controls, limitations and authorities to achieve the greatest possible return within an acceptable degree of risk. 

Risk Management & Strategic Planning Department:

Identifies, analyzes, assesses and monitors all types of investment and operational risks of all types. It proposes the necessary policies, procedures and controls to manage them, in addition to measuring the investment performance of the Unit’s investment activities. The department also identifies the level of compliance with legislation, laws and procedures, and proposes the monitoring controls necessary to alleviate the strategic and operational risks. 

Administrative Affairs & Operations Department

Executes all financial transactions and records, opens the relevant accounts, issues payment orders, wires transfers and checks, and verifies the application of the valid procedures and the availability of the documents that support the transactions. It also aims to provide the necessary services to facilitate the work of the Investment Unit in a safe, clean and healthy environment.

Information Technology Department

Computerizes the various works of the Investment Unit pursuant to the modern procedures and criteria in order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the work and guarantee continuity and the security and protection of information.

Human Resources Department

Recruits distinguished and qualified individuals and maintains them by motivating the employees, and developing, training, qualifying and enabling them to perform their duties efficiently and meet current and future challenges. This is as an integral part of the Corporation’s belief in the role and contribution of the human element in the accomplishment of the set goals.

 Financial Control Department

Verifies the credibility, soundness and accuracy of the Investment Unit’s financial data appropriate to the criteria of the international financial disclosure. It enhances the monitoring tools of the Unit’s financial performance, as well as guarantee compliance with the relevant policies, procedures, instructions, laws and criteria. The Department also aims to draft budgets and monitor and analyze deviations in order to achieve the desired goals.

Control and Internal Audit Department

Verifies the soundness of the various activities of the Investment Unit, objectively and independently, and verifies compliance with international financial disclosure laws and the valid laws, regulations, instructions and decisions to offer affirmations and consultations to the executive management of the Unit.

Legal Office

Supports the decisions of the Investment Unit by offering legal opinions and consultations and preparing and/or reviewing the agreements, contracts and memorandums of understanding in which the Investment Unit is a party to ensure the balance of the contractual relationship and maintain the Unit’s interests. It also reviews the legal drafting of instructions and regulations regulating the work of the Investment Unit, in addition to following-up faltering companies, debtors, and tenants who fall behind on payments.
 

Commission & Corporate Communications Department

Instill the image of The Investment Unit as a long-term national investor through enhancing a cooperative environment with the partners based on transparency and the exchange of information and knowledge , as well as contributing to providing an effective internal communication environment based on transparency .

Portfolio Support Department

Follow-up the contributions of the Investment Unit in the companies, especially the strategic ones, to maintain their true value and develop them through a comprehensive system of management, monitoring and guidance to guarantee effective representation and instill the principles of good governance.
