Deputizing for the prime minister, Minister of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Mothanna Gharaibeh, Wednesday inaugurated the "Big by Orange Summit" under the theme of "Emerging Companies' Impact on the Jordanian Economy."

Some 300 entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers from the public and private sectors are taking part in the summit that was organized by Orange Jordan.

"In cooperation with the World Bank, the government has conducted a survey to identify the most pressing challenges facing entrepreneurship," Gharaibeh said, emphasizing that these challenges limit the work plan.

There is a volunteering team working and a joint effort exerted by both the government and concerned parties to yield success in this sector, he added, pointing out that '"it is the government's duty to consider the feedback and work on facilitating and enhancing the entrepreneur environment in line with the laws in force."
